Jarrod Bowen Had England’s best chance before halftime, his shot excellently kept out from Thomas Strakosha. As a teammate hanging back, it fell to him to offer an outlet down the right side but his crosses from wide areas were inconsistent. Substituted late in the match. 6

Harry Kane The match-winner with his two more finishes in an England shirt. The first a trademark close-range tap-in while the second a classy headed goal after peeling away away from the opposition. Now 32, he’s only getting better with the national team have every chance next summer when he's in the team. 8/10
